About Us

Since 2007, we’ve been building bridges between cinema and communication.

To us, the line between the two is fluid. We approach audiovisual production the way we tell stories: with sincerity, and always with the desire to move people.

Creative Film & Content Studio

Based in Lausanne, Switzerland

Imaginastudio was born from a simple insight: brands need more than formats — they need ideas.

Ideas that resonate and align with brand strategy — whether it’s through a commercial, a corporate film, or any other audiovisual project. From local SMEs to global multinationals, from public institutions to international brands, we’ve supported dozens of film projects across all sectors: industry, watchmaking, tourism, healthcare, education, agencies, luxury, and media. Some clients have trusted us for over 15 years. Others are just getting to know us.

Over the years, our work has earned numerous awards, both in the world of communication and on the stage of independent cinema. While these recognitions make us proud, they also push us to aim even higher.

Every collaboration is a meeting, a dialogue, in short, an adventure. And we’re here for it.

With a sharp wit and a bright laugh, Alexis is the glue that holds everything together. He orchestrates, prioritizes and navigates the unexpected with cool head. It's thanks to him the creative spark doesn't get lost in technical hurdles or distribution constraints — though we cannot promise that it doesn't getting a bit side tracked by his musical re-enactments.
Arnaud drives projects with logic, empathy and a clear understanding of what truly brings value to projects at hand. He insures that the production stays true to the original vision — all while keeping budgets and deadlines on track with a smile, a wink and a few well-timed coffees.
Aurélien is a masterful poet of motion. Far from waxing lyrical, his sharp, elegant animations quickly turn complex messages into clear engaging stories with heart and intrigue, making his work perfect for all kinds of content, from digital to interactive — but especially anything with a funky disco beat.
With a sharp eye, a strong sense of storytelling, and a passion for the imaginary, Pascal seeks truth in every frame. He embraces the bigger picture, structures the narrative, and guides each project with precision—never stealing the spotlight from his subject.
David thinks in terms of distribution, how to grab attention in less than 5 seconds, and hold onto in until the very end. He adapts content for each platform — without ever compromising the creative intent. This is particularly true if the creative content is a fluffy dog called "Zimbrak."
This is where the images find their rhythm. Pascal assembles, trims, lets the story breathe. His sense of timing turns raw footage into narrative flow. We call him Captain’Cut. We love him — and he loves us right back.
Pauline gives the ultimate digital nomad experience for all of our work. She ensures that every piece can travel with out losing a thing (which is more than most of us can say). From subtitling to cultural localizations she adapts, fine-tunes, and stays true to the original spirit with a precision that would make most travel companies jealous.
Sébastien prefers to stay in the shadows (preferably under an umbrella, with a cold beer, sheltering from Barcelona's heat), but is arguably the one who deserves the most credit for keeping the lights on — HR, admin and payments — he's the quiet force behind the scenes keeping food on our table and light in our eyes.
A jack-of-all-trades Ugo ensures that every shoot runs smoothly. He coordinates logistics, schedules, and teams with precision. He's also trained in sound engineering, and he brings his technical expertise to our productions, elevating our audio quality to the sublime. He's organized, meticulous and always attentive, just like a sous chef putting the finishing touches on a cucumber salad.

Film at the service of the brand
Every industry has its codes, constraints and challenges. It's our job to fully understand these and work with them to create enjoyable content.
Every industry has its codes, constraints and challenges. It's our job to fully understand these and work with them to create enjoyable content.

We aren’t just a production company, but a production company with a vision, one that pushes to have every detail, idea and story to move people to do better.

This kind of vision leads to bold visuals, purposeful direction, and videos that actually say something — and moves us all to do better. Our team brings together complementary talents: directors, producers, creatives, and technicians, who all work together to push our work further. We’re based in Le Flon, the creative heart of Lausanne, just 50 minutes from Geneva — a buzzing neighborhood from which we reach clients all over.

Exports and localization

It all starts with a vision. Not a trend, not a passing fad — a vision that deserves to exist. Whether it comes to life as a short format, social content, or a commercial, we write to move people. Every piece of audiovisual work begins with intention: to deliver a message with precision and emotion.

Our directors come from all walks of life — but they all share one rare talent: helping us see things differently. Each project calls for its own approach, and our team of directors adapt — from documentary to fiction, commercial to branded content. Their strength? Turning constraints into style, and form into meaning.

Production isn’t just any old cog in the machine — it’s the engine. It’s what turns creative ideas into reality, allocating resources where they matter most, maximizing on-screen impact, and generating real production value. To us, a great producer is someone who dares to say no to the easy road — and yes to boldness. At every step — casting, shoot, set design, logistics — we make sure everything aligns. Because every film is a delicate balance between creative ambition and technical precision.

This is where everything comes together. Editing becomes storytelling. Color becomes intention. Sound becomes emotion. Our in-house team masters every post-production craft: color grading, editing, sound mixing, VFX. When needed, we bring in trusted freelancers to boost the team. From first cut to final master — every detail matters.

When words fall short, shapes take over. Our motion design studio creates animations that tell stories, simplify ideas, and bring clarity. Whether it’s for educational videos, training content, or making complex topics more accessible, motion design helps capture attention and structure the message.

A film isn’t finished once it’s edited — it still needs to live, travel, and adapt. We handle all the necessary exports: TV, social media and digital content, as well as international delivery. We also take care of localization: subtitles, multilingual voiceovers, and platform- or broadcaster-specific adaptations.

Crafting Stories for the Big Screen

At Imaginastudio, cinema is a calling. It’s where it all began.

At Imaginastudio, cinema is a calling. It’s where it all began.

We choose our projects carefully — the ones that challenge, that offer a bold, singular, and necessary perspective. Our role? To create the conditions for those films to exist. To support directors, structure their process, and protect their creative momentum.

Behind every great film lies deep groundwork: funding, casting, shooting, distribution. That’s what we do — with precision and passion. Because a film can still break a stereotype, spark a debate, stir deep emotion. Because cinema remains one of the few art forms that can reach everyone — across generations and social boundaries.

To us, that’s the true essence of audiovisual production: bringing ideas to life, giving voice to unique perspectives, and moving audiences.

Impact

Behind every film, there’s a chance to do better.

We believe that today, no company can exist without a sense of responsibility. And that every film holds the potential to push things forward.

At Imaginastudio, we don’t just produce audiovisual content — we strive to have a positive impact on society. For us, to produce is also to pass things on. That’s why we prioritize local partners, share knowledge, and help train the next generation of talent.

Our company embraces sustainable practices: eco-conscious shoots, inclusive working conditions, and awareness of social issues. Every project is an opportunity to create meaning.

Cinema & Communication

We are members of Swissfilm Association and AROPA.

Imaginastudio is part of both the Swissfilm Association — the umbrella organization for commissioned film producers in Switzerland — and AROPA (Association Romande des Producteurs Audiovisuels), which supports auteur cinema and cultural films.

This dual affiliation reflects our unique positioning, at the crossroads of artistic creation and strategic production — spanning institutional and commercial commissions as well as cinematic projects.

We were also the first producers from French-speaking Switzerland to join Swissfilm Association, a testament to our strong local roots and growing national reach.
