Corporate film Sport Valley
Sport Valley Corporate Film
There are institutional films that describe. And those that declare. Sport Valley belongs to the latter.
On the occasion of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, a strategic consortium of institutions (Canton of Vaud, Vaudoise Arena, Lausanne Olympic Capital, ThinkSport, and the Smart Move network) entrusted us with a mission worthy of the event: positioning the Vaud region as the ultimate SportTech destination.
Our response: a manifesto film. A strategic communication tool designed to convince, captivate, and engage, while supporting its message with real-world examples. Start-ups seeking an ecosystem, international partners, demanding investors, public decision-makers — each audience has its own codes, and every image must fulfill its role. Imaginastudio delivered the concept, production, and direction of a project with significant political and economic stakes, designed to perform across all formats: web, social media, international events, and diplomatic spaces.
The film was inaugurated at the Swiss Pavilion of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
Strategic Institutional Film
A Project with Political and Symbolic Stakes
Designing an institutional film for a territory goes far beyond corporate communication. It is a strategic exercise in which every word and every image engages a wide spectrum of stakeholders — public institutions, economic partners, and citizens alike. In this context, the message must be both precise and unifying, capable of expressing a collective ambition without diluting the distinctiveness of each party involved.
A Unified Narrative for a Shared Vision
The core challenge lies in aligning diverse forces: public authorities, centers of excellence, innovation ecosystems, and academic actors must converge into a single narrative. An effective institutional film does not merely assemble viewpoints; it defines a common trajectory, embodying a strategic vision that transcends individual interests to serve a coherent territorial project.
From Descriptive Tool to International Manifesto
Rather than settling for purely informational content, the film becomes a statement of intent, carrying both emotion and ambition. Conceived as a strategic lever, it moves beyond the local sphere to establish itself as an instrument of international influence. Whether deployed across the web, social media, major events, or diplomatic arenas, it positions the territory as a brand in its own right — compelling, credible, and inspiring.
Audiovisual Production
A Constraint Turned into Narrative Strength
Working primarily with existing footage could have limited creative possibilities. Instead, the constraint became an asset. It demanded narrative precision, forcing us to extract the essence of the material to build a compelling story. Rather than being restricted by the available images, we used them as the foundation for a more disciplined and impactful approach — where every shot carries weight.
A Story That Goes Beyond the Message
Instead of simply listing advantages, the film is structured around a central idea: innovation is embedded in the territory’s DNA. From historic inventions such as Velcro to contemporary SportTech start-ups, this continuity becomes the narrative thread, bringing depth and coherence to the film. The story leads, making the message more memorable and resonant.
A Corporate Format Energized by Design and Rhythm
To avoid the pitfalls of a static institutional film, motion design and a carefully paced edit amplify the visual impact. By alternating dynamic sequences with moments of pause, the film creates narrative tension between heritage, infrastructure, and modernity. The voice-over — both restrained and striking — adds a universal dimension, demonstrating that a short corporate format can be simultaneously strategic and inspiring.
