They collaborate with orchestras, produce their own concerts, go on tour… In short, they mean business. But as is often the case with excellence, their image can come across as distant.
So how do you show quality without scaring people off? By telling the story differently.
We imagined an institutional film that doesn’t look or feel like one. A vibrant, human format — just like EVL itself: demanding, yes. But also warm. Accessible. Deeply rooted in Lausanne’s cultural life. The common thread of the film? Mozart’s Requiem. It moves from a pair of headphones to a chorus sung spontaneously. It connects the shots, the faces, the voices. And sets the tone.
The camera is precise. The lighting, natural. The locations, carefully chosen. But what really matters is the feeling: a moment suspended in time, a desire to be part of the choir — or at the very least, to see them in concert. It’s beautiful, it’s professional, it’s alive. And anything but intimidating.
