Why AP

Before big decisions come the first gestures. For EHL, we told the beginning of the journey — the one that starts in the AP program, where everything truly begins.

We follow Daphné as she walks through the campus. She remembers: her first kitchens, her first services, first contact with real guests — when school becomes real. Each memory brings back a feeling.

To translate this visually, we used two temporalities: a cool, controlled present; a warm, embodied past. Blue for analysis. Orange for impulse. An intense shoot: 40 shots in a single day, across rooms, halls, and kitchens. It took anticipation, speed, precision. But like the AP students, we learned by doing.

This film is a dive into experiential learning. A preparatory year that truly prepares.
